AMU Mphil PhD 2010Admissions

A.M.U. offers more than 250 courses in traditional and modern branches of education. Access all of the Faculties of the rules framed by the Academic Council on the basis of each faculty and are made for each course. AMU Offered Research Courses in M.Phil / Ph.D. degree in all the faculties of the university.

A candidate will be eligible for admission to a Course of study leading to the degree of M.Phil / Ph.D. if The Candidate has passed the Master’s Degree examination (M.A., M. Sc., M. Com. etc.) from this University or an equivalent examination recognized by this University, with 55% marks or equivalent grade in a subject relevant to Candidate proposed field of Research, provided that Candidate also had obtained with 50% marks at Candidate’s Bachelor’s Degree examination, subject to any further requirements for eligibility that may be laid down by the Board of Studies concerned from time to time. For details the respective Chairmen of the Departments of Studies may be approached. Candidates possessing M.A. Degree in Public Administration may be admitted to the Course of study leading to award of Ph. D. Degree in Public Administration.

Admission Process
The prescribed Application Form and relevant information shall be available online through Internet in the month of May 2010. Candidates may download the prescribed Application Forms from the following website : ww.amucontrollerexams.com

The Application Form duly filled in will be submitted alongwith a crossed Demand Draft or Cash Receipt of Rs. 1000 /- to the Chairman, Department of Studies concerned of this University or Coordinator, Interdisciplinary Biotechnology Unit complete in all respects along with a well designed synopsis or a proposed plan of work on or before the last date.
06.07.2010 No University employee or an employee of another organization will be allowed to complete admission formalities until and unless he / she submits Leave Sanction Order from the competent authority for the whole duration of the Course as the M. Phil./Ph.D. is a full time Course with the condition of regular attendance according to the regulations framed by the Academic Council.
