Indian Institute of Technology Joint Entrance Exam IIT JEE 2010
Indian institute of technology joint entrance exam (IIT-JEE) is an examination for the students who what to pursue engineering as their bachelor’s degree. The exam is conducted for the admission to undergraduate courses at IITs, IT-BHU, Dhanbad, Varanasi and ISMU.
IIT-JEE 2010 Eligibility For Jee-2010
(i) A candidate can attempt JEE only twice, in consecutive years. Those who have appeared in JEE in 2007 or earlier are not eligible for appearing in JEE-2010.
(ii) Candidates appearing in JEE-2010 should have either passed the qualifying examination in 2010 or should be appearing in 2010. They should also satisfy the specific eligibility criteria in the qualifying examination. Candidates who have passed the qualifying examination before October 1, 2007 are not eligible to write JEE-2010.

IIT-JEE 2010 How to Apply.
(iii)The Application form can be obtained by Cash payment of Rs. Rs. 500/- for SC/ST/PD/Female candidates (Yellow Colour envelope) or Rs 1000/- for all other candidates (White Colour envelope). - from designated branches of banks .
(i) The Information brochure contains details regarding application procedure, syllabus of JEE, examination centres, courses available at various institutions, counseling, fee structure and other relevant information about JEE-2010.
(iii) Application material can also be obtained by sending a demand draft along with two self-addressed slips, from the “Chairman, JEE”, IIT Bombay, Mumbai-400076; IIT Delhi, New Delhi-110016; IIT Guwahati, Guwahati-781039; IIT Kanpur, Kanpur-208016; IIT Kharagpur, Kharagpur-721302; IIT Madras, Chennai-600036; IIT Roorkee, Roorkee-247667. The demand draft of amount appropriate to category/gender must be drawn on any Nationalized Bank in favour of “Chairman, JEE” of the respective IIT payable at the corresponding city. Candidates applying from abroad should remit the amount in Indian Rupees. Application material will be sent by Ordinary Post. IITs will not be responsible for any loss or postal delay.
IIT-JEE 2010 Important Dates
1. 19-11-08 to 24-12-08 – sale of bulletin and forms.
2. 19-11-08 to 16-12-08 – request of application forms through post.
3. 24-12-08 – last date for receipt of application forms at IITs.
