Karnataka Examination Authority CET Exam 2010

The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) has invited applications for Common Entrance Test (CET), 2010 for the admission to the 1st year courses. The admission through KCET is open only to the Karnataka residents; however there are some seats under management quota which are for the non Karnataka students


KEA CET Exam 2010 Eligibility criteria
Eligibility for medical and dental course
Candidate should have passed 12th with at least 50% in marks in PCB and must be more than 17 years of age.

Eligibility for engineering courses
Candidate should have passed 10+2 at least 45% marks in Physics, mathematics and any of the Chemistry / Bio-Technology / Computer Science / Electronics / Biology along with English as one of the main subjects.


Eligibility for architecture
For admission to architecture course the candidate must satisfy the eligibility conditions for NATA.

KEA CET Exam 2010 Important dates
Last date for the request of application form by post: Mid jan
The forms should reach the candidate before: First week of feb 2010
Physics and chemistry examination:3rd week of april
Mathematics Examination: 3rd week of april
.Biology Examination: 3rd week of april

KEA CET Exam 2010 Examination scheme:
The whole examination is divided into 3 papers
First is the physics and chemistry examination of 120 marks
Second is mathematics paper which is of 60 marks
Third is biology paper also of 60 marks
