Maharashtra State Directorate of Technical Education, Mumbai conducts an all- India entrance test (Maharashtra MBA/MMS Common Entrance Test) for Admission in PG Management offered by government institutes, universities
MAH-MBA/MMS-CET 2010 Eligibility Criteria
( i )Candidate should have passed with minimum of 45% marks in aggregate ( 40% for ST / SC) in Bachelor’s degree/Master’s Degree in any discipline recognized by the Association of Indian Universities.
(ii) For the academic year 2008-09, both the Maharashtra State and OMS candidates who have appeared/appearing for the All India CETs (CAT/JMET/MAT(conducted in Feb. 2008)/ATMA/XAT) are considered eligible for admission against the All India Seats subject to the fulfillment of eligibility criteria mentioned in the Information Brochure. Such candidates are also required to procure the Information Brochure along with Application kit and submit & confirm the Online Application form.
MAH-MBA/MMS-CET 2010 Courses offered
On successful qualifying of MAH MBA/MMS CET two year full time Post Graduate Degree courses in Management are offered in these following areas:
Master of Business Management (MBA)
Master of Management Studies (MMS)
PG Diploma in Business Management (PGDBM)
PG Diploma in Management (PGDM)
MAH-MBA/MMS-CET 2010 Examination Pattern
MHA MBA/MMS CET is a single-stage entrance test of 2½ hours duration.
The test contains multiple choice objective type questions having maximum of 200 marks.
The test comprises sections like: Verbal Ability & Reading Comprehension, Quantitative Aptitude and Logical/Abstract Reasoning.
There are no negative markings for wrong answers.
Candidates scoring 30 marks or more in MHA MBA/MMS CET or having equivalent score of 30 marks or more in CAT/XAT/MAT/JMET/ATMA are only eligible to appear Group Discussion and Personal Interview which followed the written test.
