Mahatma Gandhi Institute Of Integrated Rural Energy Planning And Development (A joint venture of Planning Commission) Bakoli, Alipur, Delhi 110036 offers 2-semester PG Diploma in "Integrated Rural Energy Technology".
Eligibility: (a) 4-year B.E/B.Tech in Mechanical/Civil/Chemical/Electrical/ Agricultural Engineering or Master's Degree in Physics with minimum 60% marks from a recognised University/Institute, (b) A valid GATE score in case of non-sponsored candidates. Candidates who have appeared for GATE and are appearing for their final qualifying examination are also eligible to apply provided they complete all their examinations including practical/viva-voce not later than 20 July. All candidates selected for admission excluding sponsored) would be eligible for the Institute scholarship as per AICTE norms. There would be only 15 seats for the Programme out of which 5 seats would be reserved for the sponsored candidates. Seats are reserved for SC/ST and other candidates as per rules prevailing in the Govt. of N.C.T. of Delhi.
