National Film Archive Of India, Law College Road, Pune 411004 offers Film Appreciation course. The course is primarily designed to meet the needs of teachers interested in introducing film study activities in educational institutions but would also be useful for film society organisers, film critics, journalists, film researchers, Govt. officials handling films and other interested in film studies. The curriculum includes theoretical and practical study of the art and history of film and the development of cinema as a medium of art and communication. Film classics both Indian and international are used for critical analysis and study.
