National Olympiad Pune Programme in Physics Chemistry Biology Astronomy and Junior Science 2010

Eligibility Criteria
(i) Olympiads in Physics, Chemistry and Biology: Science students of Class XI or XII (Born after December 31, 1989)
(ii) Astronomy Olympiad:
(iii) Junior Level: Students of Class X or lower (
(iv) Senior Level: Students of Class XII or lower
(v) Junior Science Olympiad: Students of Class X or lower (

The programme will follow 5 stages
Stage I:
National Standard Examination in Physics (NSEP)
National Standard Examination in Chemistry (NSEC)
National Standard Examination in Biology (NSEB)
National Standard Examination in Astronomy (NSEA (Jr.) and NSEA (Sr.)
National Standard Examination in Junior Science (NSEJS)
NSEP/NSEC/ NSEB/ NSEA/ NSEJS


About 300 toppers in each subject will qualify for State II


Stage II:
Indian National Olympiads in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Astronomy (Jr. and Sr.) and Junior Science: INPhO, INChO, INBO, INAO (Jr. and Sr.), INJSO.

State III:
Orientation cum Selection campus (OCSC) in each subject.
The selected Indian teams at the end of OCSC will undergo pre-departure training (Stage IV) and participate in the respective International Olympiads

(Stage V).
