Application forms
The Course Catalog can be found by hand from chose branches of AXIS Bank around the country on payment of Rs. 250/- (the list of selected branches is available on NIFT website). Prospectus can also be obtained by hand for Rs. 250/- or by post on payment of Rs. 350/- by way of DD in favor of NIFT payable at New Delhi from any of the NIFT centres.

Please note that the upper age limit for applying in bachelor programmes is restricted to 23 years as on 1st November, 2001.


Eligibility for Bachelor Programmers - Design
The candidate must have passed +2 level exams in the 10+2 pattern of examination of any recognized Central/State Board of Secondary Examination, such as Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi, and unit for Indian School of Certificate Examination, New Delhi. General Certificate Education (GCE) Examination (London/Cambridge/Sri Lanka) at the Advanced (A) level. Any Public School/Board/University Examination in India or in Foreign countries accredited by the Association of Indian Universities as equivalent to 10+2 system.


Eligibility for Master Management Program
Three years graduate Degree or equivalent in any discipline recognized by the Association of Indian Universities or Diploma in Accessory / Fashion Design / FIT from NIFT only.
For foreign Bachelor’s Degree, not accredited by the Association of Indian Universities, proper certification by a National Body constituted in the country concerned for granting equivalence will have to be developed.


Eligibility for Master Programme - Technology
The candidate must have passed B.E. / B.Tech. (Textiles / Apparel / Mechanical / Industrial / Production / Electronics / Computer / Information Technology)


Campaigning is cautioned to fill this code and shade correctly as the allotment of the required Examination Centre will be based on this information only. Please note that NIFT reserves the right to cancel any of the Examination Centers mentioned. In such case, alternate centre which is administratively convenient will be allotted.
 

 
Selection criteria 
The candidates applying for the exam should ensure that they fulfill all the eligibility criteria for admission to the examination. Their admission at all the levels of the test for which they are accepted by NIFT viz. Written Test, Situation Test, G.D. and personal Interview (as the case may be) will be strictly tentative, subject to their satisfying the prescribed qualification specifies. If on confirmation at any time before or after the Written Test, Situation Test, Group Discussion and Interview (as the case may be), it is fond that candidate does not fulfill any eligibility criteria, his / her candidature for the examination shall stand cancelled without any notice or further reference.
