The National Institute of Watersports (NIWS) has been setup by the Ministry of Tourism, Govt. of India as an apex institute for meeting the challenges of fast evolving leisure-based watersporting in India. Since inception, Institute has been endeavouring creatively to fulfill the mandates. It is the first Institute of this nature in the South East Asia and would cover the entire range of watersport disciplines such as life saving, boat handling, sailing, windsurfing, water skiing, scuba diving, river rafting and kayaking. Since inception, 20 courses have been developed covering the watersport professionals, managers and the tourists, particularly those visiting Goa.

NIWS Recruitment Exams 2011 Eligibility
The Candidate should have passed 10+2 for admission in graduation Program from any recognized Board.
For Admission in Post graduate program the Candidate Should have passed Gradate degree from any recognized university


NIWS Recruitment Exams 2011 Placement
Most courses offered by the Institute are mandatory in nature. In the absence of trained and proficient operating personal, it is illegal to organise watersporting. Many trainees also get attractive offers from the Middle East countries after gaining experience.
