PGIMER 2010 MD MS

Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education & Research is well known as PGIMER. It is held for the admission in MD, MS courses and Ph. D. programme. This gives the admission in various colleges at Chandigarh.

Post-Doctoral (DM/M.Ch)
Postgraduate (MD/MS)

Eligibility

1. Must have MBBS degree from any recognized university
2. Should not made more than one attempt during the MBBS course
3. Must have completed their one year internship after course

For DM (Clinical Pharmacology) Course

 Must have degree in MD Pharmacology recognized by the Medical Council of India

For other DM courses

1. Must have degree of MD Medicine or Pediatrics recognized by the Medical Council of India.
2. Candidate should be registered with the Central/ State Medical Registration Council.

For M.Ch. Courses:

Must have MS General Surgery recognized by the Medical Council of India

For M.Ch. (Plastic Surgery) Course

1. Must have MS degree in General Surgery / M.S. (ENT) / M.S. (Ortho.) recognized by Medical Council of India
2. Should be registered with the Central/ State Medical Registration Council


Important Dates:

Commencement of Exam (MD/MS): 2nd week of Jun, 2010
Commencement of Exam (DM/M.Ch): 3rd week of Jun, 2010

Examination Pattern:

The exam will be of 250 MCQ, each contain 5 answers for each question. It is a 3 hours duration exam and contains 100 marks. There is negative marking followed in the checking.
