CEED 2011 Common Entrance Examination for Design

 CEED (Common Entrance Examination for Design) is all India level exams for the admission in design degree in India. This exam is conducted by Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay (IIT, Bombay). This is on the behalf of Ministry of Human Resources Development, Department of Education, and Government of India. This is mainly for the admission in Post Graduate M.Des. programmes at the Industrial Design Centre (IIT Bombay), Instrument Design and Development Centre (IIT Delhi), Centre for Product Design and Manufacturing (IISc Bangalore) and Design Programme (IIT Kanpur). 

CEED 2011Objective:

Assessment of aptitude for design, involving:

1. Visual perception ability
2. Drawing skills
3. Logical reasoning
4. Creativity and communication skills
5. Qualifying Examination for Admission to Master of Design (M.Des) Programmes at IISc Bangalore, IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Guwahati and IIT Kanpur, and Ph.D. Programmes in Design in some Institutes, for the Academic Year 2011-2010.


CEED 2011 How to Apply:

Application form may be submitted ONLINE (Internet based) or OFFLINE (by POST/in Person). ONLINE submission can be made by accessing the website of CEED. For the application form candidate should pay Rs.950/– (Rs.475/– for SC/ST/PD).
