Barry-Wehmiller International Resources (BWIR) provides a contest of design Ace.
It is a Annual Manufacturing Design Challenge. This contest is open to all Engineering Students across Tamilnadu. The objective of this contest is to give engineering students from throughout the state an opportunity to learn more and exhibit their talent and proficiency in the various facets of manufacturing and engineering. BWIR hopes to encourage future generations to consider and explore opportunities within manufacturing and engineering.
Eligibility:
The contest is open to students of all Engineering Colleges across Tamilnadu. Students of any year pursuing their Bachelors degree can apply.
Participation Process:
Team of two from the same college and will submit two designs- any one innovative design of your own and a design for a problem statement given by BWIR.
The event will culminate in a Grand Finale at Chennai, March 07, 2010.
Prize:
The top three teams, in addition to the cash prizes will be offered a stipend paid internship at BWIR. They might even absorb you for some of their most challenging assignments.
