Sri Ramachandra Medical College & Research Institute is situated at Chennai. It provides a test SRMC for the admission in various courses of medical and dental courses. This test held every year. The university was established in 1985.

SRMC 2011 Courses offered:

All the PG courses are divided into 5 groups.
D.M. in Neurology, Medical Gastroenterology, Nephrology, Cardiology

Group B courses:
1. M.ch. in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Paediatric Surgery , Neuro Surgery , Surgical Gastroenterology , Urology
2. D.M. in Cardio Vascular & Thoracic Surgery

Group C courses:
1. M.D. in General Medicine , Paediatrics, Anaesthesiology , Radio – Diagnosis , Dermatology, Venereology & Leprosy , Pathology, Psychiatry
2. M.S. in General Surgery, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Orthopaedics, Ophthalmology, Otorhinolaryngology
3. Diploma. in Child Health (D.C.H), Obstetrics & Gynaecology (D.G.O), Anaesthesiology (D.A), Orthopaedics (D. Ortho.), Ophthalmology (D.O), Otorhinolaryngology (D.L.O), Medical Radio – Diagnosis (D.M.R.D), Dermatology, Venereology and Leprosy (D.D.V.L), Psychiatry (D.P.M)

Group D courses:
1. M.D. in Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Pharmacology, Community Medicine
2. Dip. in Public Health (D.P.H.)

Group E courses:
M.D.S. in Prosthodontics, Periodontics, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Conservative Dentistry & Endodontics, Orthodontics, Oral Medicine and Radiology, Oral Pathology, Pedodontics.


SRMC 2011 Eligibility

Group A:
Must have M.D. (General Medicine) or M.D. (Paediatrics) or any other recognized equivalent qualification

Group B:
Must have M.S. (General Surgery) or any other recognized equivalent qualification.

Group C & D:
Must have MBBS Degrees and should have undergone the complete rotatory Internship

Group E:
Must have BDS Degree and should have undergone the complete rotatory Internship

SRMC 2011 Important dates:
1. Availability of application forms: Last week of Nov 
2. Deadline for submission of completed application forms: Last week of Dec 
3. Group A,B,C,E examination: Third week of Jan morning time 
4. Group D examination: Same day of Jan afternoon time
