UPA International Student Design Competition is held for the student. The competition invites student teams to invent a system that addresses this design problem. The student get difficulty to reach the into their nearby communities and include target user groups beyond students themselves – for example, families with children, urban professionals, the elderly, etc.
The Design Problem:
Meeting the mobility needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their needs, is the problem of design. The problem can include efforts to reduce carbon emissions, improve public transit, and encourage car sharing, cycling, and walking. It is projected that by 2025 2/3 of the world populations will reside in urban areas, making Sustainable Transportation a critical component in economics, politics, and health concerns of massive urbanization.
The Competition Structure:
The competition will follow up as:
Round 1. Short Paper
Round 2. Poster
Round 3. Oral Presentation
Eligibility:
1. Submissions are invited from teams of 2-5 member students.
2. Design schools and colleges, from undergraduate to post-graduate.
3. All international entries are welcome.
