APPSC 2010

The Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission came into being on October 1, 1953 with the merger of Andhra Public Service Commission and the Hyderabad Public Service Commission existence after the formation of the State of Andhra Pradesh on November 1, 1956. The commission is governed by the Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission Regulations, 1963.

PAPER-I: General Studies
Board of Secondary School Certificate, A.P., as prescribed for 10th Class in History, Geography, Civics, Economics, Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology and Current Affairs.

PAPER-II: Secretarial Abilities
i) Mental Ability (Verbal and non-verbal)
ii) Numerical and Arithmetical abilities.
iii) Logical Reasoning
iv) Re-arrangement of sentences with a view to improving analysis of a passage.
v) Comprehension
