The Department of Commerce, part of the Delhi School Of Economics is an integral part of Delhi University providing post-graduate level courses for those interested in a career in business management. It provides courses tailored for the needs of those striving for success. Courses at post-graduate level include Master of Finance and Control (MFC), Master of Human Resource and Organizational Development (MHROD), Master of International Business (MIB) and its precursor, Post-Graduate Diploma in International Marketing (PGDIM). The department accepts students for its MIB, as well as MHROD course through its Entrance Exam followed by a Group Discussion as well as a personal Interview. Both the courses are 2 year / 4 semester courses, with an intake of 80 students in each.

MIB/MHROD 2010 Eligibility criteria
(i) The Candidate should have passed a Bachelor’s Degree from any Recognized university with 50% (45% for ST/SC) Marks at least.
(ii) Candidates, appearing in the final year degree examination may also apply.
(iii) Reservation of seats for SC/ST/CW/PH/OBC and foreign candidates are admissible as per the University rules.
MIB/MHROD 2010 Examination Test Centers:
Delhi, Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Bhopal, Kolkata, Chandigarh, Chennai, Bhubaneshwar, Hyderabad, Lucknow, Mumbai and Guwahati. The Department can change/cancel any test centre.
MIB/MHROD 2010 How to Apply:
(i) The Aplication form can be obtained by cash payment or by DD from a Nationalized Bank of Rs. 500/- for one course and Rs. 800/-for both the courses (Rs. 400/- and Rs. 600/- respectively for the SC /ST /PH /CW/OBC category), drawn in favour of The Registrar, University of Delhi, payable at Delhi/New Delhi.
(iii) If desired by post, send one self-addressed envelope (28 cms x 22 cms) with a demand draft of Rs. 600/- for one course and Rs. 900/- for both courses (Rs. 500 and Rs. 700 respectively only for SC/ST/PH/CW/OBC Category). Write name, address, telephone, centre and course(s) applied for at the back of Bank Draft.
