National Talent Search Examination NTSE 2010

The exam is held for the scholarship for the students of VIII. The appearing candidates in the VIII standard provided 1000 scholarships. This examination conducted by the States/UTs in which the schools are located.

Eligibility

Class VIII studying in recognized school

How to Apply:

Application form can be downloaded from the NCERT website. Application Forms should be addressed that is mentioned in the website. Completed application form with the principal sign, send to LO before the last date. The students, who are studying in abroad, can apply the 2nd stage directly. 

Fees:

The fee for the Stage-I exam is also paid. There is no fee for the Stage-II exam.

Examination pattern:

Exam is held in two parts at State/UT level. Exam is held on the basis of the VIII standard. It is from Social Sciences, Sciences and Mathematics subjects.
Two parts are:
(a) Mental Ability Test (MAT) 
(b) Scholastic Ability Test (SAT)

Stage II examination at the National level will from:

(a) Mental Ability Test (MAT)
(b) Scholastic Ability Test (SAT) covering social sciences, sciences and mathematics,
(c) Interview: It is only for those who qualify the written examination at the National Level
